Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications and tools for the collection and analysis of tax financial information
Assist in production of tax schedules and reports in support of tax compliance
Manage and maintain data integrity and consistency during electronic processing and calculation processes
Requirements gathering, documentation, analysis and design participation, test script development, implementation facilitation and maintenance
Gather business information to create clear, concise and complete business and functional requirements and processes
Stay informed on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance our tax process/deliverables to partner
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Required

Minimum five years of recent programming experience with Access/Excel VBA, .NET (C#), and SQL
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information science, or related field is required
Knowledge of software processes such as source control management, change management, defect tracking and continuous integration and strong analytical skills
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with many levels of management, and interface between technical team and business owners
Willingness and flexibility to work overtime during tax compliance peak activity periods

Preferred

Experience with data automation, analytic, and business intelligence tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Automation Anywhere, and Generative AI tools is an advantage
