Responsibilities
Serves as primary point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance
Performs various troubleshooting techniques utilizing IT support tools (in person or remote)
Research and resolve computer hardware and software problems following documented procedures
Escalates unresolved issues to next level of IT support
Documents issues and resolutions accurately using ticketing and documentation software
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware, software and peripherals
Assists with management of IT equipment inventory and ordering
Creates and maintains user accounts. Performs user account password resets
Provides basic computer training users as necessary
Participates in regular on-call rotation
Performs other duties as assigned
Travel may be required
Qualification
Required
High School diploma required
Technical and problem-solving skills
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Maintain a positive attitude
Commitment to quality
Ability to handle protected health information in a manner consistent with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA)
Preferred
Associates degree or higher in a technical field
Certification in one of the following preferred: IEEE, CompTIA A+, Network+
Minimum two to four (2-4) years' experience installing and troubleshooting computer hardware, software, and peripherals in a professional environment
Experience in a healthcare setting
