They are seeking a highly-skilled Water Resources Engineer to contribute to flood control and stormwater infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with a diverse team of engineers.

Responsibilities

Assist engineers with a variety of flood control projects (including levee systems, pump stations, and dams)
Assist engineers with stormwater infrastructure projects
Conduct Field investigations required to support design/study assignments
Knowledge and research of regulatory/permitting requirements
Drafting of design packages and contract drawings
Preparation of permit applications
H&H modeling and related reports
Assist with the Preparation of Technical Studies and Reports, Project Specifications
Cost estimating support services
Construction administration
Interface with clients, regulatory officials, and contractors as required
Attendance at client or public meetings, as needed

H&H modelingCivil 3DEIT certificationGIS softwareTechnical writingProblem-solvingCollaborationDetail-orientedCommunication

Required

B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, required with a focus in water resources preferred
EIT required, PE a Plus
3-7 years of experience working in the field of Civil or Environmental Engineering. Prior H&H experience is highly desired
Strong technical writing skills
Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D will be required

Preferred

Experience with GIS, Hydraflow, HydroCAD, & HEC-RAS software is desired
Experience with local, state, and federal flood regulations, including knowledge of FEMA maps and studies, is a plus
