Responsibilities
Operating pump truck equipment to install, service, and repair a variety of pumping systems
Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with pumps, motors, and control systems
Performing routine maintenance on pumps, tanks, and related plumbing equipment
Conducting system performance tests to ensure proper functionality
Communicating clearly with customers about the work performed and any recommended follow-up services
Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License required
Must be able to drive a manual transmission
Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
Minimum of 1 year experience and proficient in pump system service, plumbing or related work
Experience operating pump trucks or other heavy service vehicles
Must have a positive and cooperative attitude and excellent attendance
Must be able to get along with fellow workers, other tradesmen on the job site, inspectors, customers and the public
Properly use safety equipment and personal protective equipment
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all types of hand tools
Good customer skills
Preferred
Digging equipment operation a plus, but not required
