Responsibilities

Prototype AI and machine learning models for telecom use cases such as churn prediction, anomaly detection, and network optimization
Experiment with agentic AI systems that automate workflows, assist with data analysis, and interact with real data products
Support the preparation and transformation of telecom data needed for model development and testing
Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and telecom specialists, gaining exposure to real-world challenges and problem-solving approaches
Learn and apply MLOps practices for training, deployment, and lifecycle management of AI solutions across hybrid cloud and on-prem environments
Document experiments, outcomes, and lessons learned to create a lasting knowledge base

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Telecommunications, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada
Proficiency in Python and data analysis libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn); exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow is an asset
Understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms, with ability to apply them in prototyping
Familiarity with cloud or containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, GCP, Azure, AWS, or OpenShift)
Curiosity and initiative to work with emerging technologies such as agentic AI systems, MLOps, and data orchestration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias toward experimentation and iteration
Clear communication and a collaborative mindset for cross-disciplinary work
Drive to innovate and push boundaries in telecom and AI
