Responsibilities

Ticket handling - Providing remote hands assistance with trouble resolution and provisioning to clients as required

Ability to diagnose and resolve issues - provide hardware assistance and problem resolution; troubleshoot client problems, repairs, servers

Hardware – Racking, stacking, and troubleshooting Server Hardware

Cabling - Installing cables, labeling connections to data center and customer equipment

Utilize Fluke tester for provisioning and troubleshooting

Must be familiar with CAT-6, Fiber - Single Mode and Multimode - and their connector types

Ability to install (rack/stack/cable/basis configuration ie:ILO) server hardware platforms and related equipment

Database/Documentation – Thoroughly document the ticket logs when performing any work

Update inventories, work with multiple ticketing and database systems

Ability to review supporting documentation for operations and installation of hardware

Perform daily security walk throughs

Shipping/receiving duties may be required
