AWS Account Executive

Protagona is a growing company seeking a dynamic and results-driven AWS Account Executive to expand their SMB client base and drive revenue growth through AWS-focused consulting services. The role involves business development, client engagement, sales cycle management, and market intelligence to ensure client satisfaction and establish Protagona as a thought leader in the cloud consultancy space.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities by building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers
Network, develop, and nurture relationships with AWS representatives to generate inbound leads
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted strategies to generate leads and drive sales
Attend regional events and conferences
Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients' business objectives and challenges
Present tailored AWS solutions to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our consultancy services
Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships
Possess in-depth knowledge of various AWS funding programs and incentives available for clients to help clients maximize benefits and make informed purchasing decisions
Lead the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to contract negotiation and closing deals
Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate scoping and alignment of proposed solutions with client requirements
Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports
Stay informed about industry trends, AWS product updates, and competitor activities to position Protagona as a thought leader in the cloud and data consultancy space

Required

Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in professional services, software development, cloud computing, and/or consulting
In-depth knowledge of AWS services and solutions
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets

Preferred

AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
Preferred locations: Philadelphia, NYC, Washington, D.C
