Responsibilities

Instruct develop and instruct Space Operations lessons

Instruct, collaborate with NSSI government, civilian and contractor personnel to develop and deliver the courseware IAW customer specifications

Responsible for the development, maintenance and delivery of all aspects related to Course execution

Postgraduate level adult education instructor and curriculum developer

Qualify and deliver classroom instruction as assigned consistent with Instructional System Development (ISD) principles and NSSI Instructions to satisfy government course delivery requirements

Design, develop, implement, and maintain lesson plans and materials within the USAF Instructional System Development (ISD) guidelines to satisfy government educational requirements

Interface with internal and external agencies and customers as required to maintain up-to-date education program materials

Provide strategic guidance in the adoption of modern digital learning experiences, identification of knowledge and skills gaps, and creation of new learning paths to support space expertise at scale

Required

Working knowledge of USSF Space Competencies

Working knowledge of Commercial, Civil, and DOD space capabilities and operations

Working knowledge and experience with training and education systems and programs

Working knowledge of, and experience with, DoD Operational level command and control

Working knowledge of US Space strategies, policies and doctrine

Working knowledge of United States Combatant Commands

Working knowledge of US partners in space

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)

Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility required

Master's degree from an accredited institution in relevant field (8 years of experience in a relevant field may be substituted for the education requirement)

Preferred

Completion of Air Force Instructor Course or equivalent Joint Service or civilian course/degree

Experience with DoD training/education, including planning, developing, and delivering instruction in accordance with the ISD model, training records keeping and documentation

Familiarity with USSF organizations, Guardian development and strategic direction
