Responsibilities

Lead projects by taking responsibility for the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements from stakeholders to deploying and maintaining software

Work with your peers on the team to come up with ideas and design solutions that are well communicated to stakeholders

Mentor some of our junior engineers in software development practices and processes

Qualification

Required

4+ years of experience working with an object-oriented programming language (C/C++, Python, Java, etc.)

A Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, similar field of study or equivalent work experience

An understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms

Honest approach to problem-solving, and ability to collaborate with peers, stakeholders and management

The ability to take ownership and responsibility of issues and handle them effectively to resolution

Preferred

Experience building Python APIs using Django, FastAPI, Flask, etc

Familiarity building UIs in React

An interest in network security

Experience in network automation/orchestration

Experience with L7 firewalls and router ACLs
