They are seeking a CNC Machinist to set-up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to customer specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Set-up and operate CNC machines to produce custom tooling/parts using various materials, ensuring adherence to customer specifications

Perform routine maintenance and replace any tool heads as needed

Load raw materials into CNC machine to produce parts

Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models

Monitor machine operation to detect any problems or errors, make recommendations

Adhere to all safety standards and regulations including appropriate personal protective equipment

Inspect finished products using precision measuring equipment (calipers, gages, and micrometers) to ensure they meet required tolerances and specifications

Document and report any issues or irregularities that may arise during the machining process

Collaborate with other machinists and team members to troubleshoot and solve production issues

Continuously improves skills and knowledge through training and experience to increase productivity and efficiency

Must be able to achieve quality and production goals

Use hand tools, inspection tools and machinery as needed
