Maverik, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, people-focused District Manager to lead and develop Store Directors across the North Dakota market. This role is crucial for impacting store performance, profitability, and team engagement by coaching leaders and ensuring operational excellence across multiple stores.

Responsibilities

Coach and mentor Store Directors to drive accountability, leadership growth, and engagement

Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with Maverik standards, policies, and safety requirements

Analyze P&L results and operational metrics to identify performance opportunities

Partner with Food Service teams to improve product quality, waste control, and profitability

Implement company initiatives and business plans across all stores in the district

Conduct regular store visits and quarterly off-cycle shifts for visibility into all operations

Required

5+ years of retail management experience with progressive responsibility, including multi-unit oversight

Strong leadership and coaching ability with proven success developing teams and improving performance

Operational expertise in areas like inventory, foodservice, waste control, and customer experience

Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and analyzing P&L results

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to manage tough conversations confidently

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field

Previous convenience store or foodservice leadership experience

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
