Pittsburgh CLO is a not-for-profit cultural organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of American musical theater. They are seeking a college-aged student to serve as an Artistic Assistant Intern, supporting directors and choreographers during the rehearsal process for two summer shows.

Responsibilities

Support directors and choreographers throughout rehearsals and technical rehearsals of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Mean Girls
Take detailed notes for both directors and choreographers during the rehearsal process
Be on book in the rehearsal room
Attend all production meeting and assist with note taking
Assist with rehearsal room needs
Other duties as required

Qualification

Stage direction experienceChoreography experienceMicrosoft Office SuiteAttention to detailDance experienceWritten communicationVerbal communicationTeamwork

Required

Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Attention to detail and organization
Previous experience in stage direction or choreography
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) a plus
Ability to work safely, independently, and efficiently as part of a team
Dance experience or background
