Hathaway Robotics is seeking an Engineering Intern to support hands-on engineering efforts across design, testing, and manufacturing operations. The intern will assist with the development and upgrade of robotic production lines, perform technical research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting with the development, integration, and upgrade of robotic production lines

Performing technical research related to automation and manufacturing processes

Drafting and maintaining technical documentation

Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion in a fast-paced production environment

Required

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Robotics Engineering

Hands on experience with FDM (3D printing) systems

Strong interest in additive manufacturing, building complex systems and automation

Passion for working with FDM printers and manufacturing hardware

Ability to work on site and commute reliably to Fall River, MA

The ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds, and the ability to perform repetitive motions like bending, stooping, and reaching
