Responsibilities
We are looking for an Engineer with cloud experience to join our development team
The ideal candidate will be technically strong and must have an understanding of large-scale distributed systems (cloud-based environments)
In addition, the candidate will have solid experience of taking a new major feature from initiation to release
This role will drive the technical aspects of our product definition, contribute to our product strategy, and improve the continuous development of our cloud management services
As a Principal Member of Technical Staff you will be responsible for ensuring that our cloud infrastructure solutions are designed and built with the highest level of scalability in mind
You will partner with other development teams and be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing solutions within a distributed computing environment
This will include conducting threat modeling of systems under development, ensuring our systems are built to align with security, identity, metrics, search, and compliance (as examples)
You will be part of a team of smart, motivated, diverse people, and given the autonomy and support to do your best work
Qualification
Required
Cloud experience
Understanding of large-scale distributed systems (cloud-based environments)
Solid experience of taking a new major feature from initiation to release
Ability to drive the technical aspects of product definition
Contribute to product strategy
Improve continuous development of cloud management services
Ensure cloud infrastructure solutions are designed and built with the highest level of scalability
Partner with other development teams
Architect, design, and implement solutions within a distributed computing environment
Conduct threat modeling of systems under development
Ensure systems are built to align with security, identity, metrics, search, and compliance

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
