This role involves collaborating with engineering teams to ensure documentation is accurate and comprehensive, helping users and developers understand and utilize ENS effectively.

Responsibilities

Create clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation for ENS APIs, smart contracts, developer tools, and user-facing products
Develop user-friendly guides, tutorials, and best practices to help developers and users seamlessly integrate ENS into their applications
Produce educational content to onboard new users and developers, ensuring a smooth and intuitive introduction to ENS
Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
Write release notes that highlight new features, improvements, and bug fixes for both users and developers
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to transform complex technical details into easily digestible documentation
Develop a content strategy tailored to different audiences, including developers, product teams, and non-technical users
Respond to community inquiries and contribute to frequently asked questions (FAQs) related to ENS, its functionalities, and the broader ecosystem

Required

Proven experience as a technical writer, ideally with a focus on blockchain, Web3, or other highly technical domains
Expertise in writing developer documentation, API documentation, and user guides for technical and non-technical audiences
Strong familiarity with the Ethereum ecosystem, decentralized applications (dApps), smart contracts, and decentralized identity
Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, accessible content
Proficiency in tools like Markdown, GitHub, Confluence, and other content management systems
Experienced with Git and version control, particularly managing open-source documentation on platforms like GitHub
Skilled at tailoring content to diverse audiences, adjusting tone and complexity to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical readers

Preferred

Familiarity with ENS or other decentralized technologies
Knowledge of CMS and SEO best practices for technical documentation
Experience writing tutorials, case studies, or thought leadership articles in the blockchain/Web3 space
Contributions to open-source projects or GitHub repositories
