Responsibilities

Oversee full-cycle accounting for affiliated nonprofit entities, including accounting for fundraising events, tracking donations, and supporting fundraising activities

Ensure accuracy of financial records and timely completion of accounting activities for all affiliated organizations, including preparing journal entries, reviewing transactions for accuracy and completeness, and performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations

Assist the Controller with variance analysis and investigation of discrepancies

Support the CFO with financial analysis, including budget-to-actual reporting

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes while adhering to established deadlines

Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for the annual financial audit

Contribute to departmental initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and streamlining accounting processes

Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
