Responsibilities
The Sleep Lab Supervisor supports leadership with the management of staff and the day-to-day operations
The individual is accountable to deliver established goals, utilize good judgment to assess and escalate situations when warranted and utilize knowledge and skills in the areas of expertise while maintaining expected quality standards within the services
The Sleep Lab Supervisor must act as leader by building constructive relationships, supporting leadership in developing, setting and executing service goals and the strategic plan in accordance with Marshfield Clinic Health System’s (MCHS) mission statement
Qualification
Required
Educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation
Five years' experience as a polysomnographic technologist
Three years' of demonstrated leadership experience
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) as a registered polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT)
Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid
Preferred
Graduate of a CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs) accredited polysomnographic technology program
Associate degree in supervision, management or related field
Seven years' experience as a polysomnographic technologist
Five years' experience in a supervisory role in a sleep lab
