Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain custom objects using SAP ABAP, including reports, interfaces, forms, workflows, and enhancements
Build applications using the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)
Design and develop OData services and manage integrations via SAP Gateway
Implement API-based integrations and ensure secure, scalable connectivity with external systems
Collaborate with functional consultants to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Conduct unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality code delivery
Optimize performance of existing custom developments and recommend improvements
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, coding standards, and project guidelines

Required

Strong development experience in SAP ABAP (Classic and OO-ABAP)
Hands-on expertise with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
Proven experience in SAP Gateway, OData service creation, and API development
Good knowledge of CDS Views, AMDP, BOPF, and modern ABAP features
Experience integrating SAP with external applications/systems
Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work closely with functional teams and deliver solutions within timelines
