Responsibilities

Field-based task oversight of environmental investigation and remediation projects
Field-based task oversight of environmental compliance sampling activities
Oversee and lead well installation and sampling tasks
Support development of environmental permit applications
Project Management tasks including budgeting, schedule and scope development and tracking
Data management, evaluation and report writing with experience drafting environmental investigation reports
Qualified candidates must be comfortable with periodic travel throughout the Louisiana area
Flexibility to work on a wide variety of projects, a positive attitude, demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff, and commitment to workplace health and safety are imperative
Excellent oral and written communication

Required

Bachelor's in Geology, Engineering, Science or related field
4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
US Citizen
Valid driver's license, subject to a Motor Vehicle Records Check
Candidate will be required to pass a background check which will include medical surveillance check (due to potential exposure to harmful chemicals)

Preferred

6 years of experience in environmental consulting
PE certification
Project Management experience
40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
Knowledge of CA state env. regulations
Ability to write and review complex technical documents
Computer proficient in MS Office, statistical programs and models
