Responsibilities

Forward notification of time-critical prospective data sets to the Data Receipt Technician
Prepare and forward quote packages to the Quoting Department
Communicate completed quote package to proper destination in prompt manner
Flow down Customer Purchase Order requirement, contract review
Ensure expeditious entry of all sales order transactions including, but not limited to, order changes and cancellations
Provide sales order acknowledgment/confirmation in a timely manner
Field customer inquiries concerning order status
Ensure adequate communication to the customer concerning any issues that may impact the on-time delivery of their product
Perform other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the department Supervisor

Required

Strong oral and written communication skills, must speak, read, and write English fluently
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Excellent telephone and email skills; position communicates with numerous personnel, both inside and outside the company
Must have the demeanor and temperance to work effectively in a customer service and fast-paced environment
Must work well in a team environment
Must have effective problem-solving skills, exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Must be detail-oriented and extremely accurate
Ability to type 30 words per minute
General knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience working in a Customer Service/Inside Sales role, preferably with a multi-site manufacturing or distribution field
Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Customer Service/Inside Sales role

Preferred

Printed circuit board knowledge is preferred
