Responsibilities

Take ownership of assigned deliverables, both in terms of timeliness and software quality

Develop new software, and enhance existing software, to high standards. Adhere to best practices that enhance user experience, usability, scalability, performance and security

Learn about various components owned by the team and how these components fit within the overall platform

Effectively communicate with all stakeholders including regular progress and updates to your manager, peers and leads

Required

2+ years of software engineering experience

Working knowledge of modern object-oriented languages

Working knowledge of modern front-end frameworks and component-based UI libraries

Working knowledge of object-oriented design techniques and RESTful API implementations

Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile

Good experience with developing solutions involving SQL and NoSQL database technologies

Knowledge of modern relational databases and Google Big Query is a plus
