Research Project Coordinator - School of Public Health

Responsibilities

Provides supporting administrative functions to the principal investigators; tracks and maintains an inventory of over 100,000 biospecimens; assists with grant applications and progress reports; assists with tracking of project expenses and purchases; helps to prepare and edit slides for scientific presentations and assists with manuscript editing and submission
Maintains and updates websites and social media accounts for the research program; develops participant newsletters and materials translating scientific research findings for lay audiences
Develops policy briefs and/or technical reports about scientific accomplishments to inform local, state and federal officials on study results
Opportunities also exist for independent data analysis and publishing in peer reviewed journals, if desired
Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education
