Responsibilities
Collaborate with the production team to assemble complex components for low volume autonomous vehicle production
Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly of intricate assemblies
Conduct quality control checks to verify the accuracy and functionality of assembled components
Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or discrepancies that may arise during the production process
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies
Adhere to deadlines and production schedules to meet customer demands and ensure on-time delivery
Qualification
Required
1-2 years experience in assembling complex mechanical and electrical systems in robotics, passenger vehicle, or heavy trucking or a related field
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in following assembly instructions and specifications
General knowledge of interior and exterior vehicle assembly, service, and aftermarket modifications
Ability to view and interpret CAD images; basic PC skills required
Experience working in a team environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant field
Ability to stand in excess of 6 hours
Ability to move around a production line environment
Able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer, must be able to lift up to fifty pounds
Preferred
Certification in robotics or electronics
Journeyman or Apprenticeship training
