Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise IT systems including servers, storage, and operating environments

Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and system utilities

Monitor system performance and resource utilization, implementing tuning as needed

Apply system updates, patches, and security configurations to maintain compliance

Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Create and maintain system documentation including configurations, procedures, and logs

Required

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or PhD. Will accept four additional years of experience in lieu of degree

US Citizenship and a current active TOP SECRET Clearance with SCI

Must comply with DoD 8140/DCWF Work Role 451 requirements, including holding an approved baseline certification and meeting all KSAs for managing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect information systems

Demonstrated experience administering enterprise IT systems in production environments

Strong knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, or Unix

Experience applying security hardening guidelines and maintaining compliance with system security standards

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues
