Responsibilities
Own local maintenance scheduling and performance to keep the fleet dependable
Perform hands-on repair and service as a skilled maintenance technician following recognized procedures
Interpret and apply maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and related documents
Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems and resolve issues within established timeframes
Document all work accurately; complete scheduled and unscheduled inspections
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years old
Ability to speak and hear efficiently; read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English; able to verbally direct in English
Basic to intermediate computer skills
Your own basic tool set: sockets/wrenches up to 1 inch and up to 1/2-inch drive
Effective time management and organization to juggle multiple priorities
Knowledge of fluid types, diesel-powered machines, and tools—design, use, repair, and maintenance
Discretion with confidential information and professional tact with employees and client representatives
Proven experience with standard and specialty tools and testing equipment (photo tachometer, diagnostic tools and hardware, scanners, meters)
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel TDY to assist at other IDS airport stations when needed
