Diagnostic Reporting Technologies Analyst

Responsibilities

Participates in workflow evaluation, testing, implementation, training, end-user support, and maintenance of PowerScribe 360 and ancillary diagnostic reporting systems
Ongoing optimization of PowerScribe 360 within the integrated solution environment to maximize physician efficiency and experience and assure data integrity to meet clinical and regulatory standards
Process requests from users in a timely and efficient fashion
Identifies users’ requests/problems and provides accurate solutions to them
Interacts with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) in other IT teams, such as Clinical Applications, IS Admins, and Infrastructure, to resolve user issues
Install new and upgrade software as needed
Creates and maintains documentation and video training materials to support all users
Changes management of clinical software in Test and Production environments
Participates in root cause analysis as trends in issues are identified, working with cross-functional team to provide support for software functionality, content, and defect resolution updates
Actively supports and promotes systems standardization, utilization, and best practices
Supports Diagnostics Reporting Technologies Specialists and Manager
Maintain a strong working knowledge of all the equipment and systems supported by the Diagnostic Report Technologies team by keeping current with all documentation and participating in continuing education programs
Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned

Required

Associate or bachelor's Degree in a related field
One to three years of healthcare applications experience, including support, training, implementation, and optimization
Experience in clinical systems implementation, systems maintenance, and physician support
Knowledge of reporting software systems such as: PowerScribe, Altamont, etc
Strong analytical skills to dissect problems and systems data with the ability to communicate creative solutions to organization stakeholders
Experience working on cross-functional teams and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to meet organizational strategic goals
Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, and dependable
Demonstrated customer service focus and excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Radiology clinical knowledge preferred
