Responsibilities
Installs, sets up, adjusts and repairs electronic energy management and security systems
Designs and builds components of systems
Completes electrical installation required for system power
Qualification
Required
Completion of journeyman apprentice program or equivalent training and experience
Four (4) years of experience related to the above tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Driver's license
Journeyman certificate desirable
Knowledge of electrical construction
Thorough knowledge of energy and access control systems
Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, fire alarm systems, electric and pneumatic controls
Basic computer skills
Ability to use highly technical computer applications
Ability to use or repair small, medium and heavy equipment
