Machining - S2 5th Shift (Onsite)
Pratt & Whitney is transforming the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing engines. They are seeking a Machining technician for the 5th shift who will operate CNC machines and perform tool adjustments while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Demonstrates clear understanding of proper work methods and procedures with use of tools and equipment
Run written CNC programs OR operation of Kasto Saws without supervision and achieve daily rate and quality standards
Understand and perform the operation of basic tool adjustments to keep parts within spec
Perform basic surface reworks failed by NDT
Perform daily work around of machines
Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment
This position for 5th Shift Fri-Sun 7pm-7am
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Must have a strong attendance record
Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift
Must have good mechanical aptitude
The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds
