Responsibilities

Responsible for the assistance of determining and developing production processes for manufacturing operations - to drive the reduction of non-value added activity and support improved process flow through improved design of equipment and methods
Evaluate existing processes and to configure manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve safety and sustainability, and develop best practices within the production process
Ensures plant is actively engaged in Continuous Improvement activities and driving sustainable results
Acquiring knowledge of various engineering department’s operations, functions, responsibilities, and workflow
Performing other related responsibilities

Required

Citizenship: US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
Applicants should be pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
At minimum, an Undergraduate Engineering student entering Junior year
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently
Blue print reading and technical report writing
Able to work and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Understanding of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement

Preferred

Ability to work MS Office
CAD (SolidWorks) experience preferred
