Responsibilities

Conduct a variety of complex laboratory procedures
Conduct research under the guidance of Principal Investigator, Ilka Pinz
Manage a defined research project, including project inception and design, implementation, and completion
Report results in a peer-reviewed forum consisting of oral and written presentation
Collaborate with clinicians to investigate the role of caveolae in patients with cardiovascular disease
Coordinate efforts with other team members in outstanding core facilities

Required

Doctoral Degree (e.g. PhD, MD, DO, DVM, PharmD) required

Preferred

Knowledge of cell transfection with mutated proteins
Knowledge of cell culture
Knowledge of Western blotting
Knowledge of protein extractions
Experience with mouse models
