Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Head of IL New Business Pricing and senior leadership to develop, design and execute strategic plans and initiatives

Ensure that the business collects, analyzes, and synthesizes data to support informed decision-making, identifies trends and insights to drive business strategies and improve performance

Oversee project management and cross-functional initiatives across MARC departments, facilitating communication and collaboration within and outside of IL Pricing

Track key metrics related to pricing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

Serve as a role model for more junior actuaries, participate in recruitment, and people development

Proactively follow market, product, or regulatory trends in life re/insurance, anticipate future client needs, and develop solutions that will differentiate Munich Re US Life in the market

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Mathematics, Accounting

10+ years Actuarial employment in the life insurance/reinsurance industry

FSA designation

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Proven track record of collaboration and leadership in organizations

Ability to develop and/or implement business solutions based on extensive product and/or market knowledge

Preferred

Pricing and product development experience

Reinsurance experience

Experience working in fast-paced, high-performance environments
