They are seeking a Technical Publications Writer to support their Triton MQ4C aircraft and mission systems team, responsible for authoring technical communications, editing manuals, and assisting in procedural reviews.

Responsibilities

Supporting analysis, reviews, and evaluation of engineering data and requirements to develop and produce customized maintenance products
Creating technical data packages from vendor source data, Navy engineering support, and Navy logistics teams in support of the product development process
Become an expert editing Extensible Markup Language (XML) in S1000D Issue 4.1 specification
Adhering to established processes to incorporate Technical Publication Deficiency Reports (TPDRs) and Electronic Rapid Action Changes (ERACs) utilizing a Common Source Database (CSDB) tool set

Required

Navy Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) qualification
7 years of aircraft/avionics technician experience
Proficient in the use of Adobe Systems, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office products
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance

Preferred

Formal education and/or a combination of education and technical writing experience
3 years of hands-on Triton aircraft maintenance experience
Quality Assurance (QA) experience
Experience in NAVAIR 00-25-604 requirements, graphics in publications, product design, system operation, or related field
