Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers
Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids
Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
May utilize trainers with technical expertise
Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree and 0 years of exempt experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
High school and 5 years combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School
Preferred
Plans, develops, and coordinates O38 product training programs for field support radiography
Obtains information needed to prepare O38 training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids/mock-ups to include radiography technique training consisting of TC-1-A and 250-1500
Proficient in the Radiographers Assistant requirements and the Industrial Radiographers Radiation Safety Program (IRRSP) criteria/regulations
Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
Continuously revises training material to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date
