Hormel Foods is a leading company in the food industry, and they are seeking a Plant Engineering Clerk to support their maintenance department. The role involves managing labor entries, updating schedules, and maintaining documentation related to plant operations.

Responsibilities

Entering craftsmen labor, including noted information and closing work orders in EAM and excel scheduling tool, scanning and filing on the maintenance drive for future reference

Update daily planning schedule to reflect changes in the production schedule and maintenance plan

Managing the fixed asset tag program including organizing, and filling equipment documentation

Entering plant sustainability information into corporate sustainability database from utility bill information including entry of water meter readings, vibration analysis on ammonia compressors, etc

Entry of production data into OMT

Create, edit and translate SOPs on critical maintenance tasks

Audit preparation as it relates to Maintenance related documentation

Review, obtain and update contractor files for expired documents and update registry

Generate several reports to support maintenance department and entry of KPI data

Update any revisions to BizCom

Maintain updated binders required in the Maintenance Department

Assist in preparation of meetings

Additional duties assigned are to include support to cross functional departments
