Responsibilities

Lead production of general session programs including collaboration with program sponsors, as well as speakers on content development and delivery, general session theme and set design, managing timelines, adhering to budget and cost effectiveness, and driving relationships with Operator and KPMG Lakehouse leaders for maximum effectiveness in general session production; collaborate with firm leaders and program speakers in the planning process, and onsite to provide coaching, including feedback on effective presentation delivery, articulating different approaches, and operating as a single point of contact in representing technical production providers to stakeholders
Manage a team to achieve high-quality event production, including but not limited to oversight of the technical production provider, which includes operational oversight in collaboration with Operator, ensuring appropriate technical production staff are aligned, adherence of inventory control procedures for proper levels of safety, security, and quality assurance with existing equipment, and approval for identifying and securing equipment upgrades as needed; potential for performance management responsibilities
Serve as strategic business partner, working collaboratively with stakeholders at Lakehouse, KPMG offices, as well as external venues to ensure successful oversight and delivery of events to create an exceptional participant experience while effectively supporting business objectives; partner with technology and other internal teams firmwide in support of core business objectives to develop action plans, timelines, and standards of practice
Drive knowledge of new product/service offerings and emerging technology and leverage vendors with proven success in innovative and creative thinking research, develop, and implement next-generation event delivery solutions, leveraging both technology and content-driven platforms
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Required

Minimum eight years of recent experience in live event production
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or eight years of relevant work is preferred. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
Experience in show management, including developing run of show, production schedules, and other similar activities
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; strong aptitude for project management, people leadership, and vendor relationship management
Ability to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives, and interface with all levels of the organization; capability to participate in development of resource plans and influence organizational priorities
Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead in an environment driven by client focus and teamwork
Ability to provide onsite management of aligned programs at KPMG Lakehouse, with the ability to lift up to thirty-five pounds
