Responsibilities
Draft motions, discovery, briefs, and related legal documents
Conduct and defend depositions
Participate in settlement discussions and prepare settlement agreements
Appear in court for hearings and law & motion
Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel
Assist with trial preparation and strategy
Perform legal research to support case development and motion work
Qualification
Required
Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
Up to 3 years of civil litigation experience (consumer warranty experience is a plus but not required)
Strong writing, research, and communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop litigation skills within a supportive environment
Preferred
Prior consumer warranty defense experience is helpful but not required
