This role will build and maintain the machine learning infrastructure for energy management applications, bridging data science and software engineering to drive innovation and reliability.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain the infrastructure required to run ML models integrated with our energy management application
Manage our technology stack, including relational and time-series database systems, cloud ML pipelines, and back-end APIs
Develop and maintain APIs supporting model deployment and data flow between applications
Author and support machine learning solutions to address energy management challenges
Collaborate closely with product managers, mechanical engineers, and software engineers to deliver measurable, real-world results
Implement and monitor CI/CD pipelines for reliable model and application deployment
Troubleshoot networking, database, container, VM, and API issues in development and production environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience building APIs and deploying ML models to production
Experience managing cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g.,Python, Java, C#, or similar)
Experience with CI/CD implementation and management
Proficiency troubleshooting system-level issues in telemetry tools such as ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana
Occasionally may need to lift or carry items up to 25 pounds (e.g., office supplies, small equipment)
Preferred
Experience in machine learning or data science, especially in industrial on energy-related applications
Experience with cloud-based ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker or TensorFlow
Background in mechanical or chemical engineering, or strong understanding of thermodynamics and energy systems
