ADB Companies Inc is a nationwide provider of technology infrastructure solutions, and they are seeking a Fiber Optic DC Technician III to provide advanced level ISP copper and fiber cable installations. The role involves performing installations, site surveys, and leading other technicians while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Performs advanced level fiber and copper cable installation including termination, assembly, and dressing to satisfy customer requirements

Expertly add and remove powered and non-powered cables and equipment (i.e. racks, cabinets, etc.) following the scope of the project, including wiring, connections, and rack elevation drawings

Perform site surveys, cutovers, and wireless system installation to provide quality deliverables to the customer

Independently read prints and assign work to other technicians; simultaneously understanding job specifications, scope of work, and critically thinking to solve technical problems that may arise

Perform fiber splicing, scoping, testing, and certification to ensure quality of deliverables

Install cable pathways (i.e. J-hooks, support rings, cable slings, cable trays, ladder racks, etc.) and ground/bond IT equipment to satisfy customer expectations and contribute to project success

Collaborate with qualified DC power technicians to terminate and connect secondary DC power installations to an active power bay

Be a Culture Champion at ADB with an ALL-IN attitude, driving participation in company events and opportunities

Partners with construction management to oversee time, materials, documentation, tools, equipment, and subcontractors onsite

Effective leader and trainer of other crew members; leads by example, ensures all company safety, quality, production, performance and conduct expectations are followed

Has professionalism to communicate directly with customers, internal crews, subcontractors and address complaints/issues as they arise

Safety is the expectation; complete buy-in to the safety culture and expectations by leading by example, teaching others, partnering with safety to present topics, and actively participating in the pre-task, good catch and safety assessment standards within the organization

Required

3-6 years of cable installation experience required

BICSI Installer, Man Lift, and CPR certification required

OSHA 30 required

High school diploma or equivalent required

100% Travel ability nationwide
