Responsibilities
Supervises employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications
Qualification
Required
Apprentice graduate, Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 6 years of applicable technical experience
4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor Test Inspection 1 or equivalent position plus a minimum of 8 years related non-exempt experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree and experience
Preferred
Knowledgeable in MT/PT/ET/VT inspection processes and principles
Working level knowledge of shipbuilding construction processes across VCS, CLB, FS and CNC programs
Considerable knowledge of the safety, security, and execution requirements for NDT
Well versed in fundamental Quality Control and Quality Assurance principles
Possess a working level knowledge of EVMS and have the ability to manage direct and indirect budgets
Demonstrated ability to build teams with internal/external customers and within their own organization
Must be able to obtain/maintain a minimum of a confidential DoD security clearance
