Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues

Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements

Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations

Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases

Maintain billable hours as necessary

Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision

Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary

Qualification

JD degreePA workers' compensation experienceMicrosoft Office 365ProLawE-document management softwareTime management skillsOrganizational skillsCommunication skillsTeamwork

Required

Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in Pennsylvania

At least 7 years of direct PA workers' compensation experience and the ability to handle all aspects of the workers' compensation litigation process required

Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment

Preferred

10+ years of WC experience preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred
