Responsibilities
Design and implement backend microservices using Node.js and TypeScript
Build scalable APIs for internal tools and external integrations
Optimize database queries and schema designs
Drive towards an event driven asynchronous system
Lead the modularization of our system into containerized microservices
Drive improvement towards automated test coverage
Qualification
Required
5+ years backend experience in Node.js using TypeScript
Adv. knowledge of PostgreSQL, relational data design, and performance tuning
Built and scaled modular, real-time backend systems
Deep knowledge of RESTful API design, security, and reliability
Production experience with cloud deployment platforms (preferably AWS)
CI/CD and testing mindset with high code coverage
Experience scaling systems into high-availability platforms
Strong communication and documentation habits
Experience integrating with 3rd party software (e.g. ERP/PLM tools)
