Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities

Present Putzmeister product line to potential customers in construction-related fields
Travel the designated territory while making sales calls to Putzmeister's current customers, competitor users, and potential new customers
Prepare and negotiate sales quotations of full product offerings, including used equipment
Consult with potential buyers on the best available products and options for the buyer’s needs
Present PM and Sany value propositions
File proper and on-time sales paperwork in accordance with daily and long-term duties. These include, but are not limited to, weekly activity reports, sales quotations, signed sales agreements, general competition issues, expense reports, market data, and other relevant documents
Stay in close contact and work in conjunction with the distributors/dealers in the territory and provide sales support as needed
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibits (regional and national when applicable), and seminars, including the World of Concrete annually when selected to attend
This position is 80% travel in designated territories/regions
Perform additional duties as assigned or required

Required

Minimum 5 years of experience with mobile hydraulic construction equipment
Proven excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
Strong computer aptitude and demonstrated computer proficiency in word processing and presentation software applications
Proven ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
Available for frequent travel
BS/BA degree
Continuing education in training
On-the-job training
