Temporary Seasonal Visitor Services Tech – James M. Robb Colorado River State Park
The Colorado Department of Revenue is seeking a Temporary Seasonal Visitor Services Tech for the James M. Robb Colorado River State Park. The role involves providing information to visitors, managing transactions, and maintaining the visitor center and park areas.

Responsibilities
Provide information on the park and the area to visitors
Utilize a Point of Sale System to sell passes, permits, camping, registrations, fishing/hunting license and gift certificates
Answer telephones and take detailed messages
Accurately collect revenue, complete shift report and shift box at end of each shift
Prepare campground reservations forms and documents. (Island Acres and Fruita)
May document and report visitor complaints
Cleaning and light maintenance duties of interior and offices, restrooms, kitchen, watering plants, and litter pick up
May assist with special events or programs within the park
Prioritize job duties
Multi-tasking
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 16 years of age
Must have a valid drivers' license or reliable transportation
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
Previous experience handling money and working with the public is helpful but not required
May need to undergo criminal background investigation
Possess strong interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work with little supervision
May be required to work the entrance station for an 8 or 10 hour shift
May not be able to leave for lunch
