Responsibilities
Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, scientific creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought. Works on problems of diverse scope in which analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
Works closely with senior managers and directors on unit/lab issues. Wide latitude for decision-making working in conjunction with the PI
Manages the work efforts of at least one individual contributors and mentors
Completes performance appraisals
Qualification
Required

Broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills
Resolves issues and contributes to unit/lab development
6+ years experience post education; One year management responsibility
