Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Reinherz Lab

Responsibilities
The postdoctoral fellow will work on HIV-1 env vaccine development and modulation of B cell affinity maturation
He or she will investigate structure-guided immunogen design and innovative vaccine strategies aimed at enhancing subdominant antibody responses
Mouse model immunization studies, immune sera analyses, FACS for immune cells analyses, B cell repertoire analysis and immunohistology are key tasks along with cloning, expression and purification of proteins, cell culture, etc
Qualification
Required
Highly-motivated candidates with a recent PhD or MD/PhD in biomedical sciences
Significant experience in immunology, molecular biology, and biochemistry are encouraged to apply
Technical experience in immunology and methods to examine immune responses (measurement of antibodies, B and T cell responses and B cell repertoire analyses and mouse modeling/handling etc.) are essential
Skills in molecular cloning, biochemistry and cell culturing techniques/protein expression are highly desirable
Candidates should have a publication record in peer-reviewed journals
We are seeking a candidate with excellent writing and communication skills, able to work independently but also effectively with other lab members
