Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Plan, execute, and deliver complex IT projects, including defining scope, timelines, budgets, and success metrics
Risk & Issue Management: Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; develop mitigation strategies and escalate when necessary
Roadmap & Dependency Management: Partner with technical teams and product owners to assess dependencies, prioritize initiatives, and align projects with broader IT roadmaps
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Performance Tracking: Monitor project progress using KPIs and project management tools; report status, milestones, and outcomes to leadership
Meeting Facilitation: Lead project meetings, remove blockers, and drive decision-making to maintain momentum and accountability
Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices within the IT PMO
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably involving systems implementations or software development
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects successfully
Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Airtable, or similar platforms
Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
PMP, PMI, or equivalent project management certification
Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments
Background working in fast-paced, highly collaborative organizations
