Project/Program Manager II (Youth Well-Being Program Coordinator)

Responsibilities

Participate in planning and program development for the PHSKC’s CCTV and BSK CWI strategies with the respective teams and leads
Execute contracts and contract amendments with the support of the program Leads
This may include developing templates and workflows, negotiating scopes of work, assisting to develop budgets, helping partners to provide needed documentation for contract execution (e.g., proof of insurance), and helping to ensure contracts are executed in a timely fashion
Ensure that contract management is being conducted according to PHSKC and BSK guidelines
This can include processing invoices, gathering financial reports, and conducting site visits Assist in the creation, tracking, and improvement of a fiscal monitoring program for contractors, in cooperation with program Leads and the Health Sciences and Best Starts for Kids fiscal teams
Assist in creation and maintenance of invoice review and approval processes, including checking invoices for accuracy and appropriate documentation, and approving for payment
Provide technical assistance to providers as needed to ensure they are submitting timely invoices and meeting their reporting requirements, including contractor meeting, trainings, and guidance
Support internal and external document organization and management via Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, and other platforms as appropriate
Support partnerships with the other programs for young people in King County and work to coordinate efforts to maximize resources and results
Assist the programs with developing and managing types of solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), to meet program goals
Support grants program monitoring and evaluation by working with program leads to track, analyze, and report fiscal and program indicators
Participate in and support the implementation of CCTV and BSK CWI provider learning circles and convenings
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Solid understanding of equity and social justice principles and practices, and the effects of place-, race- and policy & systems-based inequities on marginalized communities and populations
Two years of recent experience with fiscal contract management or monitoring and/or equivalent education and experience
Professional, personal and/or educational experience and interest within mental health, substance use prevention, public health and/or youth development or related fields
Experience negotiating terms of contracts or similar formal agreements, and/or equivalent education and experience
Demonstrated professional level organizational skills, tracking multiple projects at once, and giving attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to design and implement systems for financial and/or information management
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse audiences
Demonstrated high-level professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to collaborate and build consensus across diverse partners and community members
Ability to multi-task and work in stressful situations involving changing deadlines and expectations
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Ability to develop formal written reports for professional and community audiences
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including Sharepoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook email or demonstrated ability to learn new software systems and use them for information and document management
Have the ability to travel around the county in a timely manner
