Textron is a leading company in the aviation industry, and they are seeking an intern in their Supply Chain department. The role involves working on inventory and procurement practices, driving automation and efficiency, and collaborating cross-functionally to support Textron Aviation products.

Responsibilities

Assist with material planning requirements, issuing purchase orders for materials and components, expediting orders as needed, and verifying delivery dates

New process implementation and process improvement, involving developing procedures, completing problem analysis, etc

Manage inventory and reorder point of materials based on manufacturing schedules

Prepare reports and communications as requested

Perform system data analysis, maintenance, and clean-up

Required

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Operations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
