Responsibilities
Capacity and 4M Analysis (Man, Machine/Tool, Material, and Measure)
Standards, Span, Order Policy, Work Structure, & Routing Maintenance including Time Studies
Workflow Optimization & Cost Out (5S, Lean, Kanban, Spaghetti Diagrams)
Facility and Equipment Capital planning and layouts
Metric / Performance / Labor Analysis & Data Analytics
Visual Factory (Crew Loads / Pacer Charts)
Business Case development
Project Management
Safety / Ergonomics
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial & Systems Engineering required
Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience
Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 – August 7, 2026
Preferred
Preference will be given to candidates that are rising Sophomore or Junior classification during the 2026 internship
Strong computer skills, especially with: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI or SQL scripting, and AutoCAD
A desire to work in a fast-paced work environment that offers new challenges daily
Previous internship experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting
Hands on work with SAP software
An energetic and results driven attitude
A strong desire to work in an organization that operates within the aerospace and manufacturing industries
