Responsibilities

Collaborating with engineers to write, and debug firmware code to ensure functionality and performance
Preparing and maintaining documentation detailing firmware design, functionality, and test procedures
Working with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, to identify and resolve issues
Participating in design and code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback to improve firmware quality
Firmware development: Gain hands-on experience in writing and debugging firmware
Test environment: Learn how to develop and operate firmware test environments
Collaboration: Enhance teamwork skills by working with cross-functional teams

Required

Currently pursuing or have completed a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Ability to work 40 hours/week
Capable of working well with a cross functional team
Ability to complete tasks on time while taking in inputs from other engineers
This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Current enrollment in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering programs
Working knowledge of one or more of the following: SystemVerilog, VHDL, Python, C, Digital Systems, and Electrical Circuits
Collaborating with engineers to write, and debug firmware code to ensure functionality and performance
Preparing and maintaining documentation detailing firmware design, functionality, and test procedures
Working with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, to identify and resolve issues
Participating in design and code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback to improve firmware quality
